Lakeshore Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join their tight-knit team. You'll handle the full spectrum of vet tech responsibilities: surgical prep and assistance, patient recovery, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, catheter placement, and detailed patient record-keeping. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery, assist during procedures, and manage recovery
• Monitor anesthesia and maintain detailed, accurate patient records
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and radiology work
• Manage pharmacy duties and maintain organized patient information
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and support pet owners
• Balance multiple priorities and problem-solve independently or by seeking clarification when needed
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and deliver exceptional interpersonal care

Requirements

• Completion of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program with eligibility to register as an RVT
• Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy (new graduates welcome—VCA values growing talent from day one)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and pet owners
