Key Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and perform diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures with an emphasis on patient comfort and care quality
• Build client relationships by gathering information, listening carefully, and empathizing with their concerns about their pets' health
• Develop and communicate clear treatment plans, discussing preventive care, nutrition, and diagnosis options with pet owners
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical and surgical records following established protocols
• Stay current with advances in veterinary medicine and best practices
• Represent the hospital professionally within the community and with the public

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Canada
• Commitment to gold-standard care and ethical practice
• Strong communication skills and genuine empathy for clients and patients
