About the Role

You're a seasoned emergency veterinarian ready for a locum placement at one of BC's most respected emergency hospitals. Animal Emergency Clinic of the Fraser Valley (AECFV) is a thriving 24-hour facility that's been a cornerstone of emergency medicine for 27 years, and they're looking for someone with 3+ years of ER experience and a track record in emergency surgery to step in and make an impact.

This role puts you in a busy, high-acuity environment where no two days are the same. You'll perform emergency surgeries, endoscopy, ultrasound, and CT procedures with access to one of Canada's largest blood banks—a resource originally built by this hospital nearly 25 years ago. The caseload is robust; the facility is beautiful (8,000 sq ft, open-concept, AAHA-accredited). Bonus: a board-certified internist is joining the team in summer 2025, expanding the depth of case collaboration.
