Key Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergency medical care to pets during afternoon and overnight shifts
• Perform thorough physical examinations and diagnostics using in-house laboratory and imaging equipment
• Develop and communicate clear treatment plans to pet owners, offering guidance and compassionate support during stressful situations
• Perform medical and surgical procedures including wound care, abscess treatments, laceration repairs, and critical case stabilization
• Monitor and manage hospitalized patients to ensure comfort and quality care throughout their stay
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality care efficiently
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all cases
• Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on severity
• Handle client communications with empathy and professionalism, educating pet owners about their pet's health

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of veterinary experience
• Comfortable with afternoon and overnight shifts
