Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals
  • Perform soft tissue surgical procedures and dental procedures
  • Deliver preventative care and nutritional counselling to pet owners
  • Collaborate with team members in a team-based medicine approach
  • Mentor and coach veterinary students and early-career team members
  • Engage with the community and build lasting relationships with pet parents
  • Support colleagues and contribute to a positive clinic culture

Requirements

  • Valid veterinarian licence to practice in Canada
  • Experience or demonstrated competency in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional advice
  • Commitment to team-based medicine practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, clients, and the community
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching students pursuing their DVM
  • Genuine enthusiasm for companion animal medicine
  • Interest in professional development and networking
