You'll work a 4-day week with emergency call rotation, handling a diverse caseload that spans sports medicine, preventative health, diagnostics, dentistry, ophthalmology, field surgery, pre-purchase exams, and emergency/ambulatory work. The practice operates from a purpose-built facility with a heated 80×150 arena for sports medicine appointments, a fully equipped hospital wing with camera-monitored stalls and fluid therapy capabilities, in-house lab services (CBC, blood chemistry, automated fecal parasite analysis, PRP/ProStride), and multiple fully stocked mobile veterinary trucks for off-site care.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level equine veterinary care across sports medicine, preventative health, and emergency/ambulatory services
- Conduct diagnostics, dental work, ophthalmology assessments, and pre-purchase evaluations
- Perform field surgery and provide on-site treatment using mobile clinic capabilities
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in emergency call rotation as part of the 4-day week schedule
- Contribute to continuous learning and innovation within the practice
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (or equivalent veterinary degree) licensed to practice in Canada
- Passion for equine medicine and advancing patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
