Veterinarian (DVM)

About the Role

You'll join McEwen-Frontenac Animal Hospital as an Associate DVM in a supportive, team-focused environment where your clinical expertise and leadership are genuinely valued. This is a replacement position offering flexibility to work part-time or full-time, depending on what works best for your life. You'll take primary responsibility for clinical care, making independent decisions on complex cases and responding to emergencies while collaborating with experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and reception staff who prioritize communication and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, personalized clinical care and emergency response
• Lead surgical and dental procedures with confidence and proficiency

• Contribute to mentorship and leadership within the practice

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at the time of application
• Demonstrated proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle emergencies independently
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and emotional intelligence
