About the Role

Picture yourself learning in picturesque Muskoka at a 2-veterinarian practice that genuinely invests in student development. This externship gives you real clinical experience—not just shadowing. The team prioritizes mentorship, and you'll sharpen both your clinical and communication skills alongside supportive colleagues who actually want you to succeed.

Externships typically run 2–8 weeks depending on your school schedule and the hospital's needs. Whether you're a first-year or fourth-year student, you're welcome to apply. Eligible clinical-year students receive a travel and living expense stipend to help with costs.

Bracebridge sits in the heart of Muskoka—think pristine lakes, outdoor recreation, and a vibrant community backdrop to your learning experience.
