About the Role

Animal Care Hospital of Quesnel is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit team that combines hometown clinic warmth with the backing of a regional network. You'll practice in a community that prioritizes balance—surrounded by lakes, trails, and outdoor activities perfect for recharging after your shift. Your days will blend appointments, surgeries, and dentistry cases, with the flexibility to emphasize areas that excite you professionally. If exotic animal medicine interests you, this is an opportunity to develop those services and expand the hospital's offerings. The schedule is designed with you in mind: when you're on-call at night, your days are completely free—no daytime obligations, just genuine downtime to rest and recharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine veterinary care for small animal patients including physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Perform surgical procedures ranging from routine spays/neuters to more complex cases
• Deliver dental care services and educate clients on preventive oral health
• Collaborate with the hospital team and leverage support from sister sites within the network
• Explore and potentially develop exotic animal medicine services

Benefits

• Base salary: $100,000–$120,000 plus 23% production
