Key Responsibilities
- Build rapport with clients through active listening, empathy, and thorough information gathering
- Perform physical exams, diagnostic testing, and medical, surgical, and dental procedures to the highest standard
- Discuss diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition with clients in clear, compassionate terms
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate client and patient medical records
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and best practices
- Represent the practice positively within the community
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current licensure in good standing to practice in Canada
- Commitment to practising the highest standards of medicine and veterinary ethics
