About the Role

Join Woodbine Vet Services as a Registered Equine Veterinary Technician at Canada's premier racetrack. This is a hands-on position where you'll work directly with racehorses, performing essential clinical duties in a fast-paced equine environment. The role runs seasonally from April 1st through December 15th, with flexibility between full-time and part-time schedules to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV injections and manage fluid therapy for racehorses
• Provide hands-on veterinary technical support in an equine clinical setting
• Work collaboratively with the veterinary team at the racetrack facility

Requirements

• Current RVT registration (Registered Veterinary Technician)
• Minimum 1 year of veterinary technician experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated horse/equine experience
• Proficiency in IV injection administration and fluid therapy techniques
