Regular rotation of scheduled appointments and procedures (wellness, sick, urgent care, anesthesia, dentistry); not standby on-call duty.

About the Role

Juno Veterinary is on a mission to establish the "Juno Standard of Care"—gold-standard medicine where every pet and team member gets the support they need to thrive. As a Rotating Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll be at the heart of that mission, delivering hands-on patient care and advocating for pets and their owners across Juno's Toronto clinic network.

You'll rotate through wellness appointments, sick visits, urgent care, anesthesia days, and dental procedures—using your RVT license to its fullest potential. This is a brand new opportunity with a founder-led business that values growth, collaboration, and two-way communication. You'll work alongside veterinarians and team members who are all practicing at the top of their skillset, solving problems together and supporting each other through the real work of veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on patient care across rotating clinic appointments (wellness, sick, urgent care, RVT-led visits)
  • Execute anesthesia protocols using multiparameter monitoring and medication knowledge to create safe patient environments
  • Perform dental scaling, polishing, charting, oral nerve blocks, and radiography positioning
  • Execute technical skills including blood draws, restraint, and patient handling across all species presentations
  • Uphold the Juno Standard of Care through attention to quality, compassion, and high standards in all patient and client interactions
  • Communicate with empathy—helping pet owners understand their pet's care and building trust through clear, supportive conversations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with CE, exploring new research, and helping drive innovation in RVT-provided services
  • Work as one team across Juno's clinic community, supporting colleagues and celebrating wins together

Requirements

  • Valid Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) licence
  • Minimum 1+ years of clinic experience
  • General knowledge of general practice (vaccine schedules, common medications, preventative medicine, nutrition)
  • Hands-on experience with anesthesia, dentistry, and technical patient care skills
  • Passion for continuous learning and willingness to adapt and grow
  • Strong communication and integrity—comfortable interacting with pet owners and team members with empathy
  • Alignment with Juno's vision of supporting pets, owners, and team members to thrive

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation: $27–$33/hour (range reflects experience and skillset; progression to top end based on growth and proficiency)
  • Discretionary performance bonus eligibility based on individual and clinical performance
  • Opportunity to work at a founder-led practice shaping the future of veterinary medicine
  • Continuous feedback and open communication culture
  • Access to learning resources and CE support to stay current in veterinary care
  • Team environment where you're valued as part of a community of veterinary professionals practicing at the top of their license
