Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care to small animals presenting with acute medical and surgical conditions
• Perform emergency assessments, diagnostics, and stabilisation of critically ill or injured patients
• Conduct emergency surgeries and manage post-operative care
• Work as part of a coordinated team during shifts and on-call periods
• Maintain detailed medical records and communicate effectively with referring veterinarians
• Contribute to a culture of clinical collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Valid veterinary licence in Canada (DVM or equivalent)
• Experience or strong interest in emergency and critical care medicine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
