About the Role

Delaney Veterinary Services is expanding its equine team and looking for a veterinarian ready to work alongside experienced surgeons and associates in a supportive, collaborative environment. This isn't just another associate position—you'll have protected time off thanks to shared on-call duties, daily team rounds to discuss cases, and exposure to everything from routine family horses to elite competitors.

You'll handle emergencies and surgeries through from start to finish with in-house facilities, see both ambulatory and in-clinic cases, and develop your own client base in a practice that values mentorship. Key Responsibilities

• Provide equine medical and surgical care across ambulatory and in-clinic settings
• Participate in daily team rounds to discuss cases and plan appointments
• Manage emergencies and surgeries through completion, leveraging in-house surgical suite and diagnostic equipment
• Build and develop your own client base with support from the team
• Gain exposure to herd health, equine dentistry, lameness diagnostics, and advanced procedures
• Mentor and support veterinary students, externs, and interns
• Participate in shared on-call rotation to ensure protected time off

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification
• Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues
• Drive to build your practice and client base
• Interest in mentoring and supporting students and early-career veterinarians
• Willingness to engage across diverse areas of equine medicine (herd health, dentistry, lameness, surgery)
• Comfort with both ambulatory and in-clinic practice models
