Key Responsibilities

  • Provide veterinary nursing care and support to the veterinary team
  • Assist with surgical procedures, anaesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery
  • Perform diagnostic tasks including radiography and laboratory work
  • Educate pet owners on care instructions and preventive health measures
  • Maintain patient records and hospital equipment
  • Support the team in delivering Fear-Free certified patient care

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) licence or equivalent
  • Registration with Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians (OAVT) in good standing (preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient welfare and Fear-Free principles
