About the Role

Woodbine Vet Services is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Technician with equine expertise to support the racetrack's veterinary operations. This is a seasonal opportunity running from April 1st through December 15th, available as either full-time or part-time depending on your availability and preference.

You'll be working in a fast-paced, specialized environment where your technical skills directly support equine care. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with IV injections and fluid therapy administration — key competencies for anyone passionate about horse health.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV injections and fluid therapy to equine patients
• Provide direct veterinary support at the racetrack facility
• Assist with equine health assessments and treatments

Requirements

• Valid RVT registration (or equivalent credential)
• Hands-on experience working with horses (required)
• Proficiency in IV injection and fluid therapy administration (required)
• 1+ year of veterinary technician experience (preferred)
