Valley Veterinary Services is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician who's excited to make a real difference in a small-animal practice that's been caring for the Chilliwack community since 1994. Key Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and patient care
- Educate clients about pet health and treatment options
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members through excellent communication
- Work independently and collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Support community initiatives and fundraising efforts
- Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Requirements
- AHT/RVT Diploma or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year of veterinary technician experience (required)
- Passion for animal care and genuine enthusiasm for the work
- Strong communication skills, both with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team
- Positive attitude and desire to grow professionally
- Weekend and evening availability
