Secord Animal Hospital is welcoming a Veterinarian to join a team dedicated to relationship-based care. This is an existing full-time position in Toronto, with a schedule designed to respect your personal time. You'll deliver comprehensive small animal care, from surgical procedures to preventative medicine and nutritional guidance, while building meaningful connections with both animal families and your support team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional counselling
• Practice team-based medicine and collaborate with RVTs and support staff
• Mentor students and junior veterinarians in their professional development
• Build strong relationships with pet parents through exceptional communication
• Participate in professional development and stay current with industry advances
• Engage with the local community and professional networks

Requirements

• Valid veterinary licence to practise in Canada (DVM or equivalent)
• Experience in surgical procedures, preventative care, and nutritional advice
• Commitment to team-based medicine practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and clients
• Passion for mentoring and coaching students and newer graduates
• Interest in attending professional conferences and networking
• Genuine love of companion animals
