Tansley Woods Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their highly skilled, collaborative team in Burlington—perfectly positioned in the greater Toronto and Hamilton area with easy Go train access to the city, plus local trails and lakefront parks at your doorstep.

You'll practice small animal medicine and surgery in a supportive environment where communication and clinical excellence matter. With 3–7 years of experience, you'll manage complex cases confidently, handle surgical and dental procedures with proficiency, and respond to emergencies as part of a team that respects both your expertise and your personal time. This is a role where emotional intelligence and teamwork are valued as much as medical knowledge, and you'll have the opportunity to develop as a clinician and leader alongside experienced RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and Client Care Reception staff who genuinely collaborate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care for small animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and patient management
• Perform surgical and dental procedures with a high standard of medical expertise
• Manage complex cases and respond to emergencies independently and confidently
• Mentor and support RVTs, Veterinary Assistants, and the broader team
• Contribute to a collaborative, communication-focused workplace culture

Requirements

• 3–7 years of veterinary experience
• Current or eligible to obtain a General Practice Registered Veterinarian license in Ontario at the time of application
• Proficiency in surgical and dental procedures
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage complex cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
