About the Role

Central Toronto Veterinary Referral Clinic is expanding its internal medicine team and seeking a third board-certified or residency-trained specialist. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver internal medicine specialist care to referred small animal cases across a diverse range of presentations
  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment including 32-slice CT, flexible and rigid HD endoscopy, digital radiology, ultrasound, video fluoroscopy, and in-house/external lab capabilities
  • Collaborate with board-certified specialists in oncology, surgery, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, and cardiology within an integrated referral model
  • Demonstrate strong communication with referring veterinarians and pet owners
  • Contribute to a friendly, collaborative, and evidence-based clinical culture

Requirements

  • Board-certification in Internal Medicine (ACVIM or equivalent) OR residency training in internal medicine
  • Strong communication skills, energetic attitude, empathy, and compassion for clients and patients
  • Proficiency with ultrasound (highly desired)
  • Valid veterinary licence to practice in Ontario
