The hospital recently added a Board Certified Internal Medicine Specialist and is expanding fast — meaning your surgical expertise will be in real demand, with a caseload that keeps things interesting. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the surgical service as the hospital grows its specialty referral capabilities
• Perform advanced surgical procedures using state-of-the-art equipment and technology
• Collaborate with the Internal Medicine Specialist and emergency team to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Contribute to the evolution of AECFV into a premier referral and emergency centre
• Help train and mentor junior veterinarians as the surgical team expands

Requirements

• Valid veterinary licence and registration in British Columbia
• Demonstrated surgical expertise and experience
• Strong collaborative approach to emergency and specialty medicine
• Willingness to help build and shape a new surgical program
