Small Animal Associate Veterinarian

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician with 2–5 years of experience to join a busy, collaborative small animal practice that's been serving its local community for many years. You'll manage a varied caseload spanning preventative medicine, allergy testing, dietary consultations, and non-invasive diagnostics—all the while building meaningful long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive small animal medical and surgical care, including routine preventative medicine
• Perform diagnostic procedures including allergy testing and non-invasive diagnostics
• Conduct dietary consultations and client education
• Carry out surgical procedures including dentistry under the practice's modern equipment
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification
• Eligibility for licensure in Ontario
• Two to five years of clinical experience in small animal practice
• Strong communication and client education skills
