About the Role

Clarenville Vet Hospital is looking for experienced veterinarians to join their growing practice. This is a full-time, permanent position offering day shifts with relocation costs covered by the employer—ideal if you're considering a move to Newfoundland and Labrador.

You'll be working in a collaborative veterinary clinic setting, diagnosing and treating a range of animal health conditions. The role includes supervising a team of 5–10 staff members, so there's opportunity to develop your leadership skills while delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks through physical examinations and laboratory tests
• Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, and performing surgery
• Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases
• Supervise and manage a team of 5–10 staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine (DVM)
• A minimum of 5 years of professional veterinary experience
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities (NL licence required)
• Fluent in English
