Work Schedule

Regular rotation of shifts including wellness, sick, urgent care, anesthesia, and dental days—scheduled shifts, not on-call duty.

About the Role

Juno Veterinary is a founder-led practice on a mission to establish a stellar standard of care for the veterinary industry—and that mission starts with how they support their team. This is your chance to be part of something being built from the ground up, where RVTs are celebrated as Care Champions and encouraged to practice at the top of their licence.

You'll rotate through wellness appointments, sick visits, urgent care, anesthesia days, and dentistry work. This is a full-spectrum role where your technical skills, problem-solving mindset, and passion for animal welfare all matter. Juno is committed to continuously expanding the services RVTs can provide and perform, so there's real opportunity to grow your scope and expertise alongside the practice.

Based at the King West clinic in downtown Toronto, you'll be part of a collaborative team that values two-way communication, celebrates wins together, and genuinely supports each other through the challenging days. This is gold-standard medicine practiced by professionals who are all invested in the same goal: the wellbeing of every patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on patient care and execute treatment plans with a commitment to the Juno Standard of Care
  • Rotate through general practice appointments (wellness, sick, urgent care), anesthesia support, and dental procedures
  • Utilize your RVT licence to its fullest, including anesthesia management, dentistry (scaling, polishing, charting, oral nerve blocks, radiography), blood draws, patient restraint, and general technical skills
  • Advocate for pets and their owners, communicating with empathy and clarity to help owners understand their pet's care
  • Uphold high standards of patient care quality and take pride in the clinical standards you bring to every role
  • Stay current through continuing education and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Work as one team across the clinic, supporting colleagues and collaborating within defined roles

Requirements

  • Valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT or LVT)
  • Minimum 1+ years of clinic experience
  • General knowledge of general practice (vaccine schedules, common medications, preventative medicine, nutrition)
  • Experience with anesthesia and multiparameter monitors
  • Knowledge of general dentistry (scaling, polishing, radiography positioning)
  • Strong technical foundation and willingness to build advanced skills
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and act with integrity
  • Adaptable mindset with a can-do attitude focused on solutions and progress

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation: $26–$35/hour, based on experience and skillset
  • Performance bonus component with opportunity for additional earnings starting at $2,500
  • Opportunity to advance above the stated range based on experience, impact, and growth within the role
  • Culture of continuous feedback and open communication
  • Access to continuing education to stay current in veterinary medicine
  • Collaborative, supportive team environment where all roles are valued
  • Opportunity to expand your scope and practice at the top of your licence as Juno's services grow
