Join a founder-led veterinary group building something new in Toronto—where RVTs are Care Champions empowered to practice at the top of their license, supported by a team that has your back.

About the Role

Juno Veterinary is on a mission to establish the Juno Standard of Care—gold-standard medicine where every team member, from DVM to RVT, practices at the top of their skillset. As a Registered Veterinary Technician here, you're not just executing treatment plans; you're a Care Champion advocating for pets and their owners, and a core part of shaping the future of veterinary medicine alongside a founder-led team that genuinely invests in your growth.

You'll rotate through wellness appointments, sick visits, urgent care, anesthesia, and dental days—utilizing your full RVT license while working in a collaborative environment where continuous feedback and open communication are foundational values. This is a permanent, full-time role at the Eglinton location in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on patient care and execute treatment plans with a focus on the highest standard of medicine
  • Rotate through general practice, anesthesia, and dental procedures—scaling, polishing, charting, and oral nerve blocks
  • Utilize your full RVT license and technical skills, from blood draws and restraint to anesthesia management and patient monitoring
  • Communicate with empathy and integrity to pet owners, ensuring they understand their pet's care and needs
  • Uphold the Juno Standard of Care through pride in work quality and commitment to high clinical standards
  • Participate in continuous learning and stay current through CE to contribute to innovation and service expansion
  • Work as part of one integrated team across Juno's clinic community, supporting colleagues and celebrating wins together

Requirements

  • Valid Veterinary Technician License (RVT or LVT)
  • Minimum 1+ years of clinical experience in a general practice setting
  • General knowledge of GP practices: vaccine schedules, common medications, preventative medicine, nutrition
  • Hands-on experience in anesthesia, including multiparameter monitoring and medication selection
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures, scaling, polishing, and x-ray positioning
  • Strong technical foundation: patient restraint, blood draws, and other clinical skills
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and act with integrity
  • Willingness to embrace growth, adapt to change, and collaborate on solutions

Benefits

  • Hourly compensation: $26–$35/hour (based on experience and skillset)
  • Bonus component with opportunity for additional earnings starting at $2,500
  • Potential to exceed posted range with exceptional experience or demonstrated impact within Juno
  • Continuous feedback and two-way communication culture supporting your professional growth
  • Access to ongoing continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Opportunity to work at the forefront of veterinary innovation and practice expansion
  • Equal employment opportunity and inclusive workplace with accommodation support available
