Quinte Regional Pet Hospital is a thriving after-hours emergency facility minutes from the scenic Bay of Quinte, and they're adding a new Locum Veterinarian position to their talented team. You'll handle urgent and emergency cases in a thoughtfully designed treatment area, backed by modern diagnostics including digital radiography and in-house IDEXX lab equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-standard emergency and urgent care to small animals
• Lead clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care in a collaborative emergency setting
• Utilize advanced diagnostics (digital radiography, in-house lab equipment) to deliver excellent patient outcomes
• Work as part of a multi-veterinarian team with a focus on knowledge exchange and mentorship
• Demonstrate servant leadership mindset and emotional intelligence in all patient and team interactions

Requirements

• DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent veterinary degree
• Hold or be eligible to hold a full General Veterinary License in Ontario at time of application
• Experience in emergency or urgent care medicine preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strong clinical and diagnostic skills
