Small-town charm meets big-picture medicine. Join Englehart Animal Hospital's collaborative team and actually enjoy your work-life balance — hiking, skiing, and waterfalls included.

About the Role

Imagine a practice where you're not just another DVM filling a schedule — you're part of a tight-knit team that genuinely values what you bring to the table. Englehart Animal Hospital has evolved from a home-based practice in the 1980s into a full-service animal hospital offering everything from wellness exams and dentistry to surgery, rehabilitation, in-house grooming, and emergency care. You'd be joining a collaborative environment where your expertise in surgical and dental procedures is celebrated, not just tolerated.

The Town of Englehart is a small, family-oriented community where you'll find "VIP parking everywhere" — meaning easy access to everything you need. Just 3.1 km from Kap-Kig-Iwan Provincial Park, you'll have genuine outdoor adventures on your doorstep: hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and picturesque waterfalls that actually make you want to leave the clinic. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, this team will work with you to find a schedule that lets you have a life outside medicine.

This is a replacement position, meaning you're stepping into an established role with clear expectations and a welcoming team ready to support your transition.
